Lumbar and sacral area of the spine – poor posture can cause lower lumber, sacrioliiac, Coxic , pelvic inflammation and Sciatica – through an excessive anteriorly tilted pelvis.

Most back pain is felt in the lower back.

The pain in the lower back will regularly radiate into the legs or feet, and may include symptoms other than pain. Examples of these symptoms may include tingling, weakness or numbness in the legs/feet, indicating inflamed or impingement to the nerves.

Nearly 95 percent of disc herniation’s occur at the lowest two lumbar intervertebral levels of the Lower Lumber.

Acute lower back pain (also called lumbago) is the fifth most common reason for hospital visits in the UK.  About nine out of ten adults experience lower back pain at some point in their life, and five out of ten working adults have back pain every year.

Lower back pain causes 40% of missed days of work and additionally, it is the single leading cause of disability worldwide.

Even with the most extreme cases of disc herniation’s and stenosis of the lower back – acute low back pain (also called lumbago) is now the fifth most common reason for hospital visits and is now considered by CiONE to be brought on by Plantar-flexed posture, creating an aggressive Lordosis/Kyphosis, due to the dynamic anterior tilt or torsion of the pelvis.

The CiONE Postural Programs – through its focus of realigning the pelvis and thus minimizing the Lordosis of the spine, releases huge dynamic pressure and forces on the skeletal structure.  This allows the body to relax and recover deeper during rest time – which in turn through the reduction of the day-to-day irritation and inflammation of the lower back gradually eradicates the postural pain.
